I have been anticipating this album for quite some time. Rasheeda is comin outta Georgia and she got a video for the first single off this album with Pastor Troy "Do It"

"Do It" is what created the buzz on this album and it has expectations high. This song is a fast paced crunk song. It has some faint trumpets followed with some rapid hi-hats and snare drums. Rasheeda starts it off with her tight flow "a lil somethin for the hatin hoes, who gets nuthin but the knees and bows" She comes real tight on it. She is followed by the one and only Pastor Troy. After their original verses, they take turns flowin. This is one of the best songs on the album.

Up next is "Lets Ride" this track is filled with trumpets blowin every now and then. As you might can guess, this song is about ridin on them 20's and in them clean ass cars. The chorus has a nice organ in the background.

"Aint Nuttin" features Jim Crow, the track is laced with violins along with some bells. I think they bitin The Last Mr. Bigg on this song. Its still a tight song, Crow always come with some of that tight shit and he do on this song too.

"Shawty (Off Da Chain)" has Jazzy Pha on it, Pha comes with some shit like this " Ice tray wrapped around my wrist / gettin high as hell, drunk as a bitch / mane I'm feelin like a million bucks, niggas hatin but i dont give a fuck" This song is mainly about flossin the shit you got.

"Stay Down" is up next, it features Kool Ace and Kurupt. It aint really all that bumpin, could be alot better.

"No Trust (Dont Try)" Is a song about not trusting nobody, except for herself and her click. She got some pretty nice lyrics on her. This is one of the best songs on the album as far as lyrics go. The beat is nice too.

"Simon Says" You got a good idea what the premise behind this song is, the hook goes a lil somethin like this "Simon Said take it off, Simon Said take it off, Simon Said you scared, Simon Said you scared" its basically lame to me.

"Get Em Crunk" is one of the better songs on the album, its a pretty high paced song, basically just what the song says. Its your mandatory club type of song, aint really crunk enough to make you want to throw bows and knock people over, but it still gets the job down. The chorus says it all "Its Rasheeda, I got get em Crunk, Step up in the club, Give these niggas what they want"

"Mr. Baller" is basically a R&B song with Rasheeda rappin over it. This song is terrible.

"They Dont Understand" fetures Quebo Gold. Its got some real rapid hi hats along with a nice little piano loop goin in the background. This is a tight song, Quebo Gold comes real tight on this song, he got a nice flow. The chorus is kinda plain, its still kinda catchy though "Nah Nah Nah, I dont think Understand, Nah Nah Nah I dont think they understand. And we gonna do it like this shawty, and we gonna do it like that shawty"

"What Cha Workin Wit" this song got one of the best beats on the album and Rasheeda lets everyone know what shes about right off top: "I'm workin witcha, gon gitcha / I came to crank dis here up, stick up, hold up / yall niggas got me fucked up / say what, huh? put up shut up / the next one of yall run up, be the next one who get done up" The chorus of the song has some "whoop whoop" in the background, similar to Trina's "Pull Over" or Project Pat's "Chickenhead"

Up next is "All I Got To Say" and this song has a funky guitar playin in the background, it sounds real tight and is followed by some piano keys. The beat is pretty fast like the rest of the album, the chorus is sung and its real tight, the chorus has some scratching in the background. This is 1 of the top songs on the album.

The put a remix of "Do It" on here also. As well as Pastor Troy being on the track they got Cap One on here too and he lays down some tight shit on this track. This is probably the best song on the album.

The last track on the Dirty South album is "Ridin" featuring Nelly. This song kinda got a happy beat to it. Nelly comes pretty tight on the track though, its worth bumpibn, but it could've been done better.

Rasheeda got a nice voice and comes with good vocals sometimes, but more often than not, she leaves much to be desired.  Theres some real tight songs on here, but only a few.  The album could be alot better and is a disappointment to me.
