Rasheeda is back with "A Ghetto Dream" the follow up to her debut album "Dirty South" Her first album was a disappointment to most people, this album can offer some retribution for that album or it can be a downfall.

"Lets Get 2 It" features Pastor Troy. The chorus is similar to 'Do It' .... "Lets Get Toooo-iiitttt" for that fact, the chorus is lame and will turn you off to the song immediately, her lyrics are no better, "you just a obsticle, melt like a popsicle" Pastor Troy who usually comes with great lyrics, failed to deliver on this track.

Next up is "We Ready" which features Archie. This song is the best on the album, hands down. The beat gets it feel from 'Nah, nah nah, nah, hey, hey hey, good-bye' and the chorus is sung 'we ready, we ready, we ready, for ya' I never thought I would hear that song get turned into a rap song, but its happened it was done real tight. Archie has 2 real nice verses on here and Rasheeda has 1 verse.

"Jumpsides" has a heavy metal feel to it and Rasheeda shows alot of promise on this track, she has a real nice delivery, it sounds like a memphis flow. The chorus gets hard to listen to at points because she makes her voice high-pitched during it. Unfortunately her lyrics dont keep the same delivery as his first verse and the song ends on that note.

Baby D & 404 Soldierz join Rasheeda on "Who U Is" This song had enormous potential based upon the features on it, but the beat ruins any possibility of that happening. Sound effects and voice effects are all in the background, the beat sounds jumbled and to active at times to the point where you can stand to listen to it anymore. Baby D as usual delivers some tight lyrics.

You remember "Do It" from her first album? Yes its a classic song, its got a great beat and a great hook with tight verses, they put a remix of it on this album, it features Pastor Troy, Que Bo Gold & Cap One. Both Pastor Troy and Cap One have crunk verses on this song.

"Say What Cha Want" is a diss song to folk that are talkin down on Rasheeda, unfortunately you should try to make a halfway decent song when making a song like this. I think it was her who was singing on this song, I hate to talk down on Rasheeda but come on now, somebody should've told her about this song before it came out. Opoposite of good.

An equally not good track is "No Parkin", the production on this track is bottom knotch. The beat is a very monotenous loop of what sounds like 1 guitar chord looped and some simple strings. Her lyrics werent any better, with lines like this you can see why: "All that chitter chatter dont matter, we can all eat, make them blue diamonds on my toenails, when them chinks do my feet"

"You got Me Fucked Up" has a tight uptemp latin type of beat, with a tight chorus and decent verses by Rasheeda, this is one of the few real nice songs on the album.

Cap One joins Rasheeda on another track called "Get Buck" This is another uptempo track, and the beat is real close to being tight, its borderline, during the chorus it sounds tight, but during the verses the beat gets hard to listen to and it ultimately makes you want to skip the song.

"2 Nite" features Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, on this track they take turns tellin each other what they are gonna do to each other tonight, 'Yall muthafuckin hoes gon fuck tonight, gon suck tonight, get stuck tonight, yall muthafuckin niggas aint shit tonight, cant stick tonight, gon lick tonight' that was the chorus and the song is downhill from there.

"On Dem Thangs" is a decent track, it has a real nice beat with brass, organs and hi-hats. The hook is good, the lyrics are also better than the majority of her tracks.

Some people just arent supposed to be rappers. I think that Rasheeda may be one of those people. The production during points on this album was good, but for the majority of the time it was sub-par as was the lyrics of Rasheeda and the choruses for the tracks.   There are some tight songs on this album, some.  Is this album better than her first?  No.  I wouldnt suggest that you pick this album up. Better luck next time.
