Okay, 3 albums ago he said, "I'm done, I will let Silkk and C shine now!" But here we have the tenth album from Percy Miller aka Master P. We only get 14 songs, that what you will notice first when looking at the back of the cover, P usually hit ya with anything between 20-23 songs per album but he took it back. Remember when you only got 10-12 or at a max 14 songs per album, he done that now, took it back! I ainīt gonna say he did this due a lack of material, this man make hella albums every year, you know it! So what's new, well Priority distributing No Limit is yesterday, P done signed with Universal now, yeah they got both No Limit and CMR now, how many of yall would have thought that when you was trying to create a war between the two?

So let's get down to the album "Take It Outside" starts it of, I wouldn't say this song will be the song of the year now that we are to sum up 2001, but indeed this is a true New Orleans song. Like I said when Ghetto Postage come he brought it back to the N.O. streets, he ainīt the Don no more when he rap, he that whoadie from your block that made it out like that! When "MP Da Last Don" came he made forbes, he was on David Letterman, got a role in "Gone in 60 sec" and alot more, don't expect him to sell no 6 million with this but don't underestimate P he been in the game too long! Next up is "Ghetto Ballin" with Lil Romeo and Silkk, it's an up tempo guitar laced beat on where everybody spit some baller shit. I ainīt gonna lie, I like this song, I'm sure you will also, if you are a No Limit fan that is. If you hate on em, I know this album won't make you change.

Then the single, "Ooohhhwee". No Limit was never a single label, the albums are always tight but not too many singles are chart climbers, you know? This is you typical NL song; it'll work in the club for a short while, no doubt. Then we have "Real Love" with the same sample that Firm used for "Firmbiz" so once again uptempo. Chorus by NL newcomer "Sera-Lynn" who currently is working on a solo to be released on NL, but then again how many albums haven't been started working on in NL that never saw daylight, huh? What happened to 2-4-1, QB, A-Lexxus, and Ghetto Commission etc etc?

Every album has songs that make you think, so does "Game Face". "The Block" is your everyday ghetto tail on how daddy wasn't home, drugs on the block, thug life you know if you can relate. Love this one, I always love these types of songs, it's like they can't go wrong when they keep it real. He also give it up for the "thug girls" on "A Woman" which features a sample from that song "More Than A Woman", like this one to.

"Back On Top" with Silkk, C-Murder and Lil Romeo is cool, with a sample from George Clintons "One Nation Under A Groove", so if you haven't heard the album before you will recognize the song at once! You might think it's poor to sample in 50% of the songs, but no I wouldn't agree. Okey to a certain extern yes, you don't want P to be a southern Puffy but he ainīt. In my eyes he don't go wrong here, for some reason, he does what he have to. Judge for your self!

And to dedicate a song to is dead homies, you know he do that, this time with "Whoadie Gone" a pretty coo song! He takes time to also dedicate a sec to the late and great Big Ed, love to se that! He ends the album with a song that samples Jackson 5īs "Got To Be There" Pīs song is called "Lose It And Get It Back" a good way to end the album, I'll be there when you need me and vice versa is the statement!

So should you pick this up? If you used to like NL I don't see why you shouldn't like em today, they have lost many great rappers, I be the first to admit that but hey it started with TRU and TRU is still there. So NL gonna get that bacon for 2002 so keep support em, like I said while it isn't his best album to date he did not at all go wrong!
