Where's the pimp? Where's the G? They finally back with their follow up album. "Keep It Pimp & Gangsta" keeping Bama on the map folk!

"Feel Me Ni" is the first track and its tight as hell. It's got a little electric guitar along with some piano and synthesizers in it. The chorus samples that line from their first album "I know that you feel me now" The first verse is off the chain, for the first part of it each line is ended with "Bitch!" This thang got a bumpin bassline and the beat is just some crunk shit to ride too.

"C'Mon" features Pastor Troy and its just as tight as the first track. This song song got alot of strings in it. Pastor Troy flows first and as usual he comes tight as always, Troy is also featured on the chorus.

"Keep It" is on some pimpin type of shit, the chorus reminds me of some old Curtis Mayfield tracks. This song is all about "Keepin this thang pimp and keepin it gangsta" Khao & DBK is featured on "Keep It" this song aint as bumpin as the previous 2, but it's a solid track especially if you in the mood for some laid back shit.

"That's Dirty" features Dirty's labelmates Mr. Blue, Lil Burn One as well as Mannie Fresh. This track got alot of Brass blowin in it and some good verses from everyone featured on it. The beat aint really all that tight when its gets right down to it, same goes for the chorus. After a bit its starts getting catchy though. This is Dirty's lead single, you can peep the video here.

"Lose Control" features Silk (The R&B group) and Mr. Blue, its a real slow & mellow beat, but they come real hard on it. This is "Candy Girl part 2" and its a track dedicated to the females.

"Hoochie Mama" is basically about project hoes, the ones with golds in they mouth, the ones who hit the stores up and get the 5 finger discount on brand name shit and bring em back to the bricks for the low low. The Hoochies who got tongue rings, the down ass hoochie who get high with you and is down for whatever. The beat is real nice on here, its mainly strings with a tight bassline. It's a similar type of track to "Me & My Bitch" if you remember that one.

"Sholl Iz" is one of my favorite tracks, the beat is just rediculous. The chorus is really the shit, this is one you definately gotta peep, its kinda similar to their very first single. Check out some of these lyrics: "Now do I get into my 84 Fleet brougham or 68 Chevy small block with the cam / Forever pimped out, cause thats who I am / forever on the grind, tryin to sell a million grams / They call me daddy hog, game sweet like yams / In your main gurl drawls, she just suckin on my ham / Well I be godamned, we got the thang crunk / Alot of haters mad cause we rolled up the Gump...

When "Ackamonkey" stars off I was a little worried, cause it wasnt soundin like it was gonna be too tight, but then they came in flowing and I was like godamn! They up on this thang doing some tongue twisting. The chorus is simple, but it'll stick in your head: "We act a monkey, monkey, Cause we so country country"

The beat on "Woodgrain" is just way too tight. Bump this on lean and click repeat! The content on the song varies, but the chorus is about gripping the woodgrain steering wheel & the other main aspect of this song is slanging various narcotics.

My understanding is that their lead single was supposed to be "My Cadillac" and they shouldn't have changed it, cause this song is much better than "Thats Dirty", its puts it to shame. The beat has a little west coast feel to it, its got guitar in it with a bumpin bassline and of course the verses are tight. The pitch is changed on the chorus so its high-pitched and its sung: "While riding in my cadillac, what to my surprise!" that chorus is damn tight and the beat is so bumpin, I cant believe this wasnt the lead single.

Yet another tight song is "Chicken Hustlin" which aint about nothin but out there slanging, the chorus and beat are hardcore. The verses explain a little bit of their hustlin game.

There's 17 songs on this album, the last one is "Ghetto Ride" its starts off sounding like its gonna be real slow, with some guitar and piano, but then the hi-hats kick in and they come in flowin. This is one of the only really serious type of tracks on the album, talkin about the problems in the slums, problems with the family. Remember outkast's "Let me take you on a funky ride....." Well thats how the hook go on this song, except for its "Let me take you on a ghetto ride"

There really isnt a bad song on this album, so as far as on a national level, they got passed the sophomore jinx. The whole album is throwed. Keep in mind its different strokes for different folks, but if you liked their last album, you will love this one. I think its better than the first one and I put that on the boss. I been reviewing on this site for years, this is the first time I've given an album 5 stars.
