The Burnaz is a group outta Nashville, they are on one of Nashville's oldest and best record labels, Street Flavor Records. With them being on Street Flavor Records, the expectations on this album were very high. The Burnaz has 3 black members (Gynx, Kream, Charlie P) and 1 white member (D-Ray) They all have a different style of rapping, they are a very original group and this is an original album. Not 100% original of course, but the album is different than most of what you heard, not too different though, the way its different is because its better than most. Ok you get the point.

The first standout track on this album is "Blowin Treez" the beat is tight as hell, its real laid back, the guitars on this track are real nice and real guitars, not from a keyboard, thats definately a positive about Street Flavor Records. This song is mixed with some signing in their verses and tight lyrics by the Burnaz, this is one of the better 'weed' songs I've heard in a while.

"Get It All Back" is a harder track than the previous one. The concept behind this track is gettin all of your shit back from a broad, especially their weed. You can understand their point with the verses: 'You just graduated from the hoe hall of fame, dont come to my shows or ever say my name'

They bring in the brass on "Put Your Hands Up" this is a real crunk track. This is the type of track to get the club shut down. The trumpets play during the chorus and during the verses, strings come in along with a real nice bassline and some synthesizers.

They take it to Cuba with "I Got You" this track has got a real heavy latin type of feel to it, it also sounds like it has some ATL feel to it. This song could be on Billboard if they put it out as a single. The chorus is addictive to listen to and the lyrics are as equally tight. With seronades to the ladies such as this line: 'Bend over mommy, let me see you shake that ass a bit, get passionate" this track is closed out with live guitar that sounds good enough to be on an Eagles album, street flavor knows how to do it right.

"Big Ballz" is another heavy guitar laiden track, the beat might be the best part about the song, depending on what you like. This a funny song and its actually a remake of AC/DC's 1994 version.  They take the 'Big Ballz' theme to the extreme with such lines as "Well my first name is hairy, my last name is balls, and the most fun I have with them is when I place them in your jaws" other lines such as "the type that bounce around the house, puttin holes in the walls, they roll in the halls, girl my balls wont even fit up in my drawls"

One of the best songs of the year may be "Problemz" the beat is off the godamn chain, the chorus sounds like a southern Nate Dogg singin it. Once again the beat is tight as hell, thats how bumpin it is. The verses are just as tight, the plight of the Burnaz is explained on this track and most of their stress is releaved from gettin bullet (High). D-Ray goes off on this track with a little tonge twisting, watch out for this one folks. Once again at the ending of the song you hear some nice live guitar.

"What About It" is a song that grew on me, it has a little electric guitar in it and the beginning of the song is annoying, but once the first verse comes in along with the rest of the beat, it changes the song completely. I'd put this song in the 'crunk and buck' category. It'll make you want to throw some boes

"TN Pimpin" consists of organs and a piano, along with some guitar and a nice bassline. "Cut You" features Haystak, this song isnt as tight as the rest of the album, but its still a bumpin song with a lazy soul/country soundin beat.

This song only has a few tracks that werent that tight and the songs that are good on this album, are great. The production is top knotch, for the most part, the lyrics and choruses are all done nicely. The Burnaz could be the biggest group from Tennessee if signed by the right label and marketed and promoted correctly. This album isnt hardcore, they are no Three 6 Mafia, keep that in mind before you buy it, other than that check this one out.
