The Oomp Camp jumps back down on em' with the second fie ass release from thier debut artist, Baby D. Now, Baby D is known for his fast paced booty shake flow on pervious Big Oomp releases. This time around he decives those who things that he is aiming for the booty club playa feel the whole album. He comes with various styles, and the production came with various beats for the tracks on the album. From the opening track "Bow His Azz Up", you can tell that Big Oomp is coming with nothing less but that fiya. Remember, this is Baby D's first release as an solo artist. And for his first album, its Off Da Chain.

Like I say before I begin all of my other reviews, if you are not a fan of country ass southern flowin' this is not an album for you. You might as well take it back to the store, homes. If you are a fan, sit back and relax. Baby D got something special in store for you. "Bow His Azz Up" is a fiya bounce track featuring, and produced by Lil Jon. Good track to buc to, and the lyrics in the song are medicore. Remember, Baby D is not a lyrists. That's okay though, because he has support from his fellow camp members Shawty Beezle and Dollar. The following song "Don't Fall" is meant to have the same feel as the one before that. It follows up pretty nicley. This track is mid-tempoed with a good smooth rhythm. Nothing out of the ordinary, but still tight. Lil C, Loko, and Sammy Sam come in to provide more lyrical strength which is needed on the song. "Back Up" one of the rawest songs on the album, features Pastor Troy. This beat is bass filled with many highs and lows. The drum rolls provide plenty of snappin action in the neck. Pastor Troy lays it down on the song from the opening verse, which sets it off for Shawty B, Baby D, and Lil Pete from DSGB.

On "My Folk" Baby D gets into something he's more comfortable with. This is a high uptempoped bass filled track. Made especially for the niggaz that like to bounce. "Like This" Baby D goes further with the booty music. He gets some assistance from Chris Smiles a local reagge singer. Another good track from the production of the Big Oomp click. Made especially for the clubs. "Jumpin Down On Em" featuring Young Bloodz is another tight ass cut. Everybody displays thier lyrical skills on this track. Another bass filled cut, with different instruments used in the process, which makes it a good combination. "EastSyde Vs. WestSyde", is made ONLY for the clubs and the street. On this bounced out track Baby D, and Lil C repersent thier area with the chants of they syde in the background. Each of them put it down like only they could for they syde.

After that track, the album starts to slack a little. Even though some of the tracks are fiya, it seems a little repetative. "Ridin in a Chevy", is tight even though the hook is a little weak, the beat pulls it through. The lyrics are a little suportive also. "Ooh Ooh" is the weakest song on the album to me. Just because of the fact that the matter of the song is repetitive, and the beat doesn't differ. The production puts a tiwst on things on "We Ballin" a Carribeian laced beat. This is another fiya cut, when the Big Oomp click flaunts and shines they Burbans' and 20 inches. "Why Why" the slowed down bass laced track is when Baby D slips into that pimp mode, and spit that game at the females. This is a good quality track. Showing that the production is versitile, and can slow it down if it comes to it. "Bounce That Azz" Baby D goes back to his roots, and lets it loose with this one. This is what he is known for, so you know he ripped it.

All in All: This album is fiya. Its worth it. The only thing I have to comment about it the lyrical content. The lyrics could have been a more diverse and complex. Hey, thats cool though, they never flaunt lyrics in the first place. Manne Baby D Off The Chain, homes! Other Big Oomp Releases-Sammy Sam~Knuckle Up, Intoxicated~Whichaway,Loko~Str8 Outta Atlanta
