AL KAPONE "GOIN ALL OUT" ALBUM REVIEW

I think this album holds the record for have being pushed back the most times! So was it worth the wait?

Itīs under Sick Wid It and presented by E-40, this will make you wonder, did 40 let Al keep is TN flow or did he change to a bay player? First we got the intro then “The N-I-Double-G-A” a great Ska-Face song, he let us know who he is!

“What They Doin (They Dikin)” features Yo Gotti - real underrated TN rapper to me and also Kocane Wayne. Kind of slow beat mixed with great verses and Memphis feel.

“For The Low Low” got E Fizzy on the track with Al, I would have to say the beat does E more justice then Al! Not that he canīt flow on the track but the beat is more 40 influenced then Kapone style – still a good song!

“Stop Hatin” is as much Al Kapone as it ever will get! Iīm loving this song, they holler “Stop Hating Bitch!” all over the track, and Dulaa is featured on here! True Memphis ish!

“Pimpin In Me” features MJG and he is also really underrated, okay youīll say WHAT! But yeah cause Ball gets so much attention as a solo rapper compared to M, now itīs fair cause Ball is one of the best but itīs like just cause the media focus on him so much they canīt give M the same attention. Heīs a great rhymer folks!

“We Gon Ride” is cool featuring Taylor Boyz and Sir Vince. Up-tempo track with real up in yo face rhymes. “Gorilla Milk features E-40 again and also Eightball - a great move, rappers tend to always feature Eightball and MJG on the same track, I say we know them so well as a duo, put em on individual songs and know them as solo rappers! Pretty good song, but once again a lil bit too adjusted to 40…

“Puffin On That Killa” is the most outstanding song on the album, but with guests like DJ Squeeky, Taylor Boyz and Tom Skeemask what else could you expect? Lovley beat and only great rhymes!

“Innocent” is a real life song but not “make the song cry” type of deal. Itīs more of that on the run, fighting for my life track! Which almost never goes wrong!

“Supercrunk” also features 40 and out of the songs featuring him on the album this is the only one where they really stuck with a beat that is made with Al Kapone in mind and not 40. So even though I love 40 water this is the only track with him I really like!
“How We Mob” ends the album an okay song thatīs just that!

So was it worth the long wait? Ummm hard to say itīs always cool with a new Ska-Face disc but this long wait made our expectations so high that the album we got quite not adds up to them. Itīs not a bad album, not classic either. But thereīs just so many albums coming out each month that I think you really gotta be at the top of your game to become an outstanding rapper. Al pleased all Ska-face fans this time around but need to sharpen his pen a bit more next time around if he wanna gain new fans and bigger album sales!
