Grandaddy Souf, he's been boiling up for a while now and is finally getting some shine, shortly after this interview he signed a record deal with Loud Records, so you can expect to be hearing alot from him in the future.
When I think of a drought, I'm talkin about $1500 a zone, thats what its like up here.

I'm talkin about the whole game, this and that out there, niggas be robbin and shit all throughout the drought, Only the niggas who know how to get out there and whip there own shit are the only ones who gonna last. The ones who gonna prosper. Any nigga can last, but a nigga got to prosper through it.

Your nickname "Glue", what does that mean?

Mane that was a sexual orientation type of thang back in the 9th grade, I used to tell them broads, Girl this dick so good, I'll have you stuck like glue, try and get in they pants godamnit.

Who else on Parramo?

I'm the only artists right now.

Yall plannin on signin any more artists or are you waitin to see what happens with these possible record deals?

We lookin at a few people to see if we can work somethin out a sign em. I dont want to sign no groups though, I gotta problem with groups. I want to sign some solo acts, from different areas. I aint even necessary sayin I got to sign folks from my area.

Just folks from the south?

Nah they can be midwest, I had someone call me from outta Ohio. They can be from the Midwest.

Just along as they tight?

As long as they marketable.

Anything new happened since the last time we talked as far as the record deal goes?

Nah we still dealin with Loud and Elektra was lookin at me months ago, and they called this mornin for some more product. I guess they still interested you know what I'm sayin, thats about it. JCor also is interested.

Whats your favorite track off the album?

Skrilla Tight, thats my personal favorite.
I love the title of the album, and the album cover, how did you come up with that?

The type of person I am, I'm a laid back person. I aint the baddest muthafucka in the world, but I dont take no shit and I dont bother nobody and its like, when you point a gun at someone on the album cover, you damn near the offender. On my album cover, the way I'm holder it, I aint sayin I'm the offender, I'm sayin I'm defendin mine. You feel me? The whole concept with people in the field, they workin for me and you aint finna fuck with mine, thats all I'm sayin.

Yea thats tight mane.

And its a drought.

You been featured on anyone's album?

Yea I was on Boo Da Boss Playa's album. I was on the Queen Boyz album. I been on a couple of albums that aint even came out yet, thats about it right no.

You been doin alot of tourin lately?

With the Iconz, did a few shows in the Bahama's with Ja Rule.

What was that like down in the Bahama's

It was different mane, you dont know what to expect when you go to a crowd, they showed love mane. Ja Rule was headlinin, it was cool. And alot of people from Miami was there.

Hows everything goin with Southwest? I dont know if you want to put it out in the public, but its on you.

Let me put it like this, no comment and everybody can draw their assumptions and opinions from that.

You workin on your next album?

What I been doin is buyin tracks for my new album. I havent started writin yet. I dont like to just sit down and write, write write. I like to sit down and work on the song as needed. Me being a CEO, I dont have the time to do all that, I be in a meetin one minute or on a flight goin somewhere, I try to write on the plane, but that shit dont work.

You got any radio play down there?

In Tampa I'm gettin radio play, in Macon, Ga. But where I'm from, no, you can print this, FUCK 102 JAMS in Orlando.

They dont support local artists?

Not at all, fuck 102 Jams.

What about a video?

A video we been holdin out on. The reason and I think alot of artists should pay attention to this. We didnt shoot a video cause I didnt see a need to spend 5 - 20 G's on a video just so my homeboys could look at or air it on some local video shows that maybe only carry 3,000 people. The whole purpose is to get maximum exposure. If I spend that shit I want it aired in a couple states if I cant get it on BET. What is Rap City, like an hour an hour and a half? Everybody cant get on there. Everybody that got the bread gonna get played, I'm talkin about corporate America, like Universal, Arista, MCA...all them muthafuckas like that, gonna get the run off top, cause thats who pays for these program directors, they might be them houses or cars, I cant compete with that shit. So why spend the money on that, when it wont get played anyway. To be realistic about it B-Low, shoot a commercial. You can control that, if you want it ran 20 times a day, you can control that.
