The Dirty South has dropped alot of hot albums in the first quarter of 2007
and the Rap Charts are reflecting that, 6 of the top 8 rap albums are held by
artists from the Dirty South. The 2nd Quarter has started off strong and will bring more heat from the south as well.
May alone promises to bring many bangin southern albums, look at this lineup:
Mike Jones is releasing "American Dream" featuring the hits "Mr. Jones" & "Like
What I Got", UGK is coming with "Underground Kingz" which includes "Game Belong
To Me" & "International Players Anthem". Also in May Three 6 Mafia is droppin "Da Last 2 Walk" & Young
Jeezy is bringing you the USDA album "Cold Summer." In June the Boyz N Da Hood have "Back Up N Da
Chevy" scheduled for release, Dont be surprised if some of those albums get pushed back!
