Lil Flip "I Need Mine $$" Album Review |

 After much anticipation Lil Flip has finally released "I Need Mine" a 2-CD collection featuring 37 new songs and the singles "Ghetto Mindstate", "Fly Boy" & "Busta Clip" and such artists as Three 6 Mafia, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Bun B, Pimp C & More.

Rick Ross joins Lil Flip
on the first track "I Get Money" This song has a real funky beat
with a bumpin bassline. Rick Ross comes with his usual sickness. The
hook would've sounded alot better if it was screwed.
"Fly Boy" is a real throwed song, the hook is real catchy. The track
is real laid back, it's basically Flip spittin about how much flyer
he is than everyone else. "Busta Clip" is a club type track, it's
something you can move to. The bassline is bumpin as hell and sounds
like its synced up with an organ.
Chamillionaire is featured on "Playa 4 Life" He handles the chorus
in his singin style, it's real tight and the beat is bumpin, however
Chamillionaire doesnt have a verse on the song, thats its only
downfall.
One of the best songs on the album has to be "Starched & Cleaned"
Fellow Screwed Up Click members Big Pokey & Lil Keke join Lil Flip
on this song. The production is top knotch, its one of the most
bangin tracks I've heard all year.
"White Cup" features Mike Jones. It's a real mellow track with a
very screwed chorus, it's something to sip and lean to and Lil Flip
delivers some heat:
"I keep a white cup, I gotta get my lean on,
I gotta fucked up attitude once all my green gone,
Gotta put my jeans on, gotta put my rings on,
hit the button crank the motor and put my screens on"
The great production continues on the throwed ass song "I'm A Baller"
which is a hit song waiting to happen. The hook is simply "I'm A
Baller" screwed and being repeated in the Rick Ross "Hustlin" style.
This will be bumped all summer.
Three 6 Mafia is featured on "3, 2, 1, Go" This sounds like you
would think a song from Lil Flip & Three 6 Mafia would. The
beat is real bumpin and it has a bangin bassline. DJ Paul &
Juicy J deliver some real tight verses.
"You'z A Trick" remix features Bun B & Pimp C from UGK, the beat has
a little bit of a cuban feel to it with alot of brass and
percussion. They all deliver some real tight verses, especially Pimp
C & Bun B.
Some other throwed songs include "Ghetto
Mindstate", The reflective "Hall Of Fame
Graveyard", "Addicted" a song dedicated to Mary Jane, and "Cant U
Tell" featuring Sqad Up & MJG. "I Need Mine" is a 2-CD set and
unlike most sets, it aint just 1 regular CD and 1 screwed CD, its 37
brand new songs! Flip brought some real fire on this one and you
need to check it out. There's something on here for everyone.
