Paul Wall is set to release his newest album "Get Money, Stay True" on April 3rd. We had a chance to checkout a few tracks from it and wanted to let you know what to expect from it.
"Fire" features Trina and is a real laid back track filled with synthesizers, hi hats and a smooth bassline. They both drop a verse and take turns on the chorus, which is real catchy "Girl you got that fire, that fire, that good shit. Boy, you got that fire, that fire, that good shit"
Another track from Get Money Stay True is "Call Me What You Want" which features Yung Red. The beat is rediculous and the hook is real tight. "Call me what you want, as long as you dont call me broke, see I was that way back along time ago, if anything I shine, I dont sleep - I Grind"
"Everybody Know Me" has got Paul Wall dropping his patented brag-filled raps over a head bobbin beat. "I'm fresh up out the cleaners, lookin sharp as a Ice Pick, mackin to this black, hispanic, asian and white chicks, feds to see me ball, think I'm movin them white bricks, I swang holdin grain, similar to a vice grip"
"Break Em Off" is his first single from the album. This brass-laiden track features a screwed hook which is infectious and the lyrical stylings of Lil Keke.
These tracks tell us that Paul Wall is comin back hard on his sophomore album and you need to be on the lookout for it.
