The Atlanta based record label, Big Cat Records has announced it’s signing of Female Rap Recording Artist, Khia, who is most widely known for her 2002 Hit Single, “My Neck, My Back (Lick It)”.
KHIA, who has written and produced her previous two Independent Albums on her very own, TME (Thug Misses Entertainment) states, “I am extremely excited about my new deal”. Her third album to be entitled, NASTY MUZIK is scheduled for a late spring release. The album’s first single, “What They Do” featuring Gucci Mane will hit airwaves in February.
“Signing KHIA to the label was a no-brainer. Everyone knows who she is. She knows how to make a hit and we are happy to have her on board”, says Mel Breeden, President of Big Cat Records.
KHIA re-emerged into mainstream in Fall of 2006 with a feature for Janet Jackson’s latest single, “So Excited” off of her 20 Y.O. Album. “My third album will definitely show my growth as an Artist and Producer. I’ve been through a lot and my lyrics will prove it”, says KHIA who has been touring non stop since the success of “My Neck, My Back (Lick It)”.
