yo B.G.`s music barely gets any play(radio or street play) outside of the south and a little bit in the east.
i`ll be surprised if his music is bumpin on radio`s on in west.
Lil Wayne`s music is playing everywhere. my cousin lives in London, and he is bumpin Lil Wayne in his car and also he has no clue who B.G. is and my cousin was raised in south!
so to me, lyricly, Lil Wayne is one of the best, maybe even the best rapper alive.
Lil Wayne gets on songs and remixes no other rapper would dare get on, and he gives the songs more attention(radio and street play) and a some-what "new meaning" to the original lyrical meaning it had before Wayne got on the track.
i don`t see B.G. or any other rapper for that matter getting on more songs than Wayne is.
but back to the B.G and Weezy situation, sit down and listen to Wezzy`s songs (ex. Gossip) and don`t pay attention to the beat on the track, then do the same for B.G.
most would agree that lyricly Wayne is one of the best maybe even the best, gangsta or not.
