Their independent single I'm Fresh ft. Mannie Fresh (click to download radio edit) is making an impact at radio in both Urban and Rhythmic formats all over their home state of Texas, as well as Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Jackson,Chicago and even Minneapolis with more stations jumping on rapidly.
Hailing from La Marque (Galveston County), Galveston and Houston's South Side, this 4-man group were already tight-knit, although each was doing his own thing musically, before they decided to come together as TMI Boyz. Consisting of BC (writes, raps and prouces), Huskey (raps, writes and produces), Dudella (raps, writes and produces) and Sayeed (raps and writes) the guys' musical chemistry is a combination of each's musical and environmental background, mixed with their very different personalities. They break it down like this, "We all bring a different element of Rap to the game; Dudella's uncle was the Legendary Big Mello, a member of the SUC and he covers the 'trap' and 'hood' side of our sound. Huskey brings that party and crunk vibe to the music while BC gives ya that layed-back, reality check ish. Then ya have Sayeed who we consider to be one of the few 'real' Hip Hop lyricists from the South. Together, we gon have something on our album for every mood you could be in."
Considering their tender age (they are all 19), TMI Boyz have come a long way in their independent careers. Already they have performed before thousands with Nationally-known artists like T.I., Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Slim Thug, Juvenile and Young Dro and that was before they had one of the hottest songs in Houston. The guys are no strangers to red carpets either, having done several award show events. When asked their secret the guys will tell you flat out; things really started to pop off when they met Lil C, Ghetto and Mario Henchmen and formed TMI Muzic . "Them guys really blessed us with the situation we in right now." they all agree. "With their help, we are all walking towards the light to get out of the hood!"
TMI Boyz debut album can be expected later this year and the producer and feature line-up is BIG! Just how big though, the guys are reticent to discuss just yet. They prefer instead that listeners take their Mannie Fresh produced single as a taste of things to come, and be surprised by the album when it drops. "TMI Muzic is just the beginning of the businesses we all plan to run." the guys assure me. "This is our label. We signed ourselves and it's all gravy from here!!"
