Yes, 8Ball has finally released a 2nd solo album and after the success with "Lost" many folks are waiting to see what he will do this time around. His solo deal is of course with is own 8Ways Entertainment, he don't still have his solo deal with Suave if any of y´all thought that, no no, independent now, making paper now! Ball in my eyes must be one of the greatest rappers of all time, it seems like when a rapper die he joins the crew of "The best of all time". But while Ball still here I wanna give him his props and put him up there with Pac, Biggie, and Pun - you know! Matters of fact out of those 4 he the best! Put him with Scarface, Dre, Cube and them he a big man in this game!

The album starts with "Thorn" a great song where Ball say fuck the industry! "Spit" is up next on where Ball let you know you can't fuck with what he spit, and that´s just what I say, can't none of em fade the lyrical skills Ball hold! 8Ways rappers Koncrete is featured on "No Sellout" on where the chorus go: "When I open up my mouth you can hear the south" and yeah, Ball wouldn't be Ball without the south and the south wouldn't be the south without Ball - nuff said! Koncrete who I believe I haven't heard before is a great group of rappers, okay maybe it's too early to tell but I think they can old it down for whole album! Ball has a good eye for talent I believe!

Bad Boy singer Carl Thomas joins Ball on "Holla Back" a real smooth nice track I really luv it! "Daddy" with his partner-n-rhyme MJG must be among the top songs on the album, and the album is not short of classic material! It's dedicated to their kids, Ball rap to his and G to his. The chorus is made by some children maybe theirs, don't know! "Daddy, why are you gone so much?/Daddy, when will you come back home?" Real life stuff that you can feel in every way, the chorus the verses, the beat everything is 100% real!

"Slab Rider" is another classic song in my ears. "He is the Slab Rider/Orange Mounder/3rd coast sider" is the chorus and it´s just lovely! I never stop listen to this track! It's like the 8Ball anthem right here. You might heard the single by now "Stop Playin Games" featuring P Diddy, now Diddy doesn't play a big role in this song, he just talk some. Now Ball didn't put him on here just so he would have a commercial name on his album, they are just good old friends, so don't blame Ball now! It's not a Diddy song; it's a Ball song no doubt!

"Witcha Lookin Ass" features southern star Ludacris who has exploded in the last year, and really I can't blame the man, he a great rapper. The song is bout how they roll and they ask ya what you looking at? You will get hype off this song, trust me! "Stripes" is yet another great song from this album, it has a guitar laced beat and it's just the perfect concept for an 8Ball song, listen to it and luv it! He ends the album with "Don't 4Get" which have Dorasel of Rap-A-Lot and old Suave House hero and South Circle member Thorough, who is a great rapper that hasn't been noted, as he should have. He also talks about he's a vet in his verse. Dorasel brings the RAL flavor to the album, which always is a good ingredient.

So is this here something for you? Well do you like Ball's past work, yes? Well then pick it up! You don't know Ball yet or you don't like him at all? Still pick it up! This album immediately became a favorite of mine. Now I've bumped it everyday and still love it, you might not want to agree but you'll have to, one word: Classic! It aint to often I get to give a album 5 Stars but here's one I can't help to give a full score!
